World Book Day 2022

On Thursday 3rd March, Leagrave celebrated World Book Day’s 25th anniversary. To mark this special occasion, all classes got involved in different ways. There was dressing up, interactive assemblies and book activities linked to the silver anniversary. It was wonderful to see all of the learning going on in classes and seeing children getting enthusiastic about learning new words, exploring books and sharing stories. The book fair was also a huge hit this week, with many children using their book tokens to help them become the proud owner of a beautiful new book.
Thank you to all of the parents who helped their children dress up for the day and a special well done to our Nursery
and Reception winner: Riley (Nursery), our Year 1, 2 and 3 winner: Kyle (Yr2) and our Year 4, 5 and 6 winner: Haider (Year 4).

Well done to Miss Conway who won the teacher costume award.. I’m sure you will agree, they all look fantastic!
