School Learning Council

School Learning Council plays an important role at Leagrave Primary School. They give a voice to all pupils. There are 13 children on the committee, one representative from each class from Year 1 to Year 6. Each class has a suggestion box, so all children are encouraged to add any thoughts they have about how to improve our school. Miss Lisa, meets with all members on a regular basis to discuss suggestions, ideas and to support and organise any forthcoming school events or fundraising activities. The School Learning Council meet with Mrs Gillespie, our Headteacher, on a half termly basis to share the suggestions and discuss how they intend to act upon these.

School Councillors are passionate about working as a team and making everyone’s time spent in Leagrave Primary School a positive experience to remember.
