Year 6 have worked very hard this term to design, plan, create and evaluate some traditional Mexican garments.
They have explored traditional colours, materials and patterns used in Mexican carnival fashion. We hope you can see some of these influences in their products!
Pupils learnt how to modify and adapt their designs when creating, including how to resolve a ‘snag’ in their material. They used a combination of back stitch and blanket stich to ensure their tabard was durable and wearable.
